    The Role
    You will be responsible for leading the maintenance and repair activities of plant equipment. This work requires the ability to make decisions based on established tools, applications, and procedures; and is of a technical nature using independent judgment within the limits of GMS, focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE).
    Support rotational shifts per operation plans
    As the Mechanical Lead, you will be responsible for a small to medium group of maintenance employees including Electricians, Millwrights, Pipefitters and Toolmakers.

    What You’ll Do
    You will lead all the mechanical maintenance, repair of plant equipment, create preventative maintenance plans; conduct appropriate checks and tests, and communicate evaluation of results and generate reports to improve uptime of equipment.

    • Maximo business administration activities for the site (Maximo LBA)
    • Mechanical design and function modifications promoting continuous improvement (TIP) to help production operations produce quality parts at rate
    • Asset Sustainability Management and Planning (i.e., Preventive and Predictive Maintenance)
    • Recommend solutions to problems
    • Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions.
    • Meet schedule and quality requirements
    • Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project.
