POSITION OVERVIEW

The Accountant III (Senior Accountant) plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strengthening accounting processes, and supporting the integration of acquired companies into our standardized financial structure. This role focuses primarily on core accounting activities—general ledger integrity, close process excellence, financial analysis, and process improvement—while providing accounting input into our ERP environment as needed. This role also helps simplify and standardize accounting processes, ensure strong internal controls, and contributes to a smooth transition of new entities into our chart of accounts and reporting model.

This is an onsite position located in Holland, MI. It is not open to hybrid or remote work at this time.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of the general ledger across assigned accounts.
• Prepare and review financial reports and schedules to support internal and external reporting.
• Strengthen accounting controls, documentation, and process consistency.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to leadership, including performance trends and KPI support.
• Assist with audit requests and ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
• Contribute to simplifying and standardizing accounting workflows across entities.
