  • Rona Lum, J.D., Attorney at Law, President, Law Offices of Rona M. Lum

    Rona Lum was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is a graduate of the University of Hawaii, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She received her law degree from the Michigan State University School of Law. Lum is in private practice and specializes in the many aspects of business-based immigration law, particularly in the medical, pharmaceutical, information technology, engineering, and higher education professions.

    She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, International Law Section; American Immigration Lawyer’s Association; Asian American Bar Association of Michigan; the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association; member of the Congress of Fellows of the Center for International Legal Studies, Salzburg, Austria; Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (Forum  and  National Certification Committee). Lum’s past appointments include Trustee, Community Care Services Board of Trustees of Henry Ford Health, and Commissioner, Michigan Asian Pacific American Affairs Commission, appointed by former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm. 

    Lum has been on the APACC Board of Directors since 2011 and is currently serving as the Vice Chair on the Executive Committee.
