Volunteer for the 2026 Rocket Classic
The 2026 Rocket Classic will be held July 30 – August 2 at Detroit Golf Club and the tournament team is looking for volunteers to join in on the fun! This is an amazing opportunity to give back to the Detroit community and get involved in the behind-the-scenes effort of the event. Volunteers are critical to the success of a tournament, managing functions ranging from guest services, on-course gallery management, merchandise, and much more.

What’s included in the volunteer package?
Volunteers will receive an official Rocket Classic Volunteer uniform by Levelwear Golf along with parking, meals, and access to the event for volunteer shifts, and tickets for the entire week of the tournament for friends or family. This package is valued at over $600!
What is the cost to volunteer?
In 2024, the Rocket Giving Fund, donated $1.49 million to Detroit nonprofit organizations. To offset the costs of the volunteer package and to allow our tournament charities to benefit as much as possible, there is a $75.00 volunteer fee. Student Volunteers with a valid Student ID will receive a discounted package at $35.00.
How many hours are required?
All volunteers will be required to work a minimum of two full-day shifts throughout the week. A full-day shift averages about 10 hours. Each volunteer committee is different, so be sure to read the requirements during registration!
