• APACC Welcomes Hannah Pszenica as New Assistant Director

APACC is excited to welcome Hannah Pszenica as our new Assistant Director. Hannah started her position on May 4, 2026 and will be responsible across events, membership engagement, and operations.

Hannah earned her bachelor’s degree in Business and East Asian Studies, focusing on China, from Kalamazoo College. She has spent over 18 months living, studying, and working in Asia, including 14 months in China and a summer interning with the U.S. Commercial Service at the American Institute of Taiwan.

With a background focused on business and economic development, Hannah has experience building partnerships, running programs and events, conducting research, and finding creative ways to solve problems. Highlights of her experience include working as a Loan Specialist for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to analyze and decision Covid-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL). Following this she worked as a Business Development Analyst with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise in LA. In this position she conducted research on the U.S. market across industries, including EV batteries, consumer goods, and agriculture, to guide companies with starting or increasing their U.S. sales.

In her recent tenure at Michigan State University as the Assistant Director for the International Business Center, she created and ran educational programming, led all Center marketing efforts, and developed and strengthened partner relationships. Programs were developed and organized with multiple stakeholders, including federal and state government officials, business leaders, and academics. A primary program of focus was running the Global Business Club of Michigan, which ran an educational webinar series and an in-person “Spotlight on (Country)” series that brought companies together with resources and state trade partners.

“Hannah’s background in international business, program development, and partnership building maps directly to the work we do at APACC every day. She brings a global perspective and a genuine passion for economic development that aligns with everything we stand for, and we are excited to see the impact she will make for our members and the broader business community.” Rachapa Lau, Associate Executive Director, APACC
