The Senior Manager, Networking Capital will play a pivotal role in driving Tenneco's financial strategy, with a primary focus on Net working capital management. This role will work closely with Senior Director and cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations that enhance A/R efficiency, Inventory Management Strategy and AP optimization.
Key Responsibilities Working Capital Management:- Lead the BU teams via various methods of Net Working Capital Management and Balance Sheet optimization.
- Identifying potential risks or gaps of NWC management and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Business unit leaders to ensure optimal NWC positioning and efficient deployment of resources.
- Enhance visibility into structural vs timing improvements in forecasting accuracy and granularity. Drive continuous improvement in working capital management by partnering with operations, supply chain, and accounting teams.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to track and enhance cash flow performance at all levels of the organization.
Monthly Cash Flow Forecasting:- Assist Senior Director in monthly cash flow forecasting targets by (1) Develop clear variance drivers and explanations (2) Develop models to conduct trend and seasonality analysis (3) Identify opportunities to improve cash flows.
Leadership & Strategic Partnership:- Act as a trusted advisor to the corporate FP&A, providing insights and actionable recommendations on corporate finance strategies.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, and business units to align on financial goals and compliance requirements.
- Drive a culture of excellence in FP&A processes, leveraging technology for automation and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, statistics, mathematics, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Experience:- 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or related roles.
- Expertise in Net Working Capital Management, trend analysis, and liquidity forecasting.
- Strong background in capital allocation optimization and balance sheet management.
- Experience in automotive or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and without supervision.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and FP&A systems such as OneStream (preferred) or similar tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in complex environments.
