Job Summary
The Safety Specialist supports DTE Vantage in implementation and oversight of safety programs and policies at sites located throughout the United States. The position reports to the Manager, Safety Team. This is a corporate staff position based in Detroit, Michigan with the ability to work remotely.

Key Accountabilities

• Develops, implements, and continuously improves safety programs
• Works collaboratively with leadership and employees to strengthen the company’s safety culture
• Leads strategic safety initiatives
• Conducts site assessments and recommend solutions to address gaps
• Works with leaders to ensure compliance with regulations and alignment with company expectations
• Creates and delivers safety-related reports and presentations
• Develops and presents training and educational programs
• Travels to project sites (approx. 25%)
• Performs all other related duties as assigned
