James Kim is a seasoned leader in the logistics and supply chain industry with over 25 years of experience driving operational efficiency and business growth across a broad spectrum of logistics services. Before immigrating to the United States in 2008, James began his career as a Logistics Manager at Samsung Motors in South Korea, where he laid the foundation for his lifelong commitment to supply chain excellence.
He is the founder of Logos Logistics, a full-service third-party logistics (3PL) company specializing in transportation, warehousing, order fulfillment, inventory management, and supply chain strategy, as well as Simple Global, an IT-based logistics platform serving B2B and B2C markets. James also leads Apptree, a staffing firm that connects companies with the talent they need to succeed.
Throughout his career, James has supported businesses of all sizes—from OEMs to small enterprises—across multiple states, including helping new companies successfully transition into the U.S. market. Under his leadership, his companies have been long-standing clients of APACC member financial institutions for over 15 years.
In addition to his business ventures, James serves as Vice President of OKTA (Overseas Korean American Traders Association) and KPAI (Korean American Professionals in the Automotive Industry) and is a certified vendor of KOTRA (Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency).
James is passionate about empowering businesses and individuals to seamlessly transport goods worldwide through innovative, tech-driven logistics solutions. He is honored to be considered for the Small Business Action Committee (SBAC) under APACC and is eager to contribute his expertise and network to help support local small businesses and foster a collaborative business environment.
