State of Michigan - Supplier Summit
The State of Michigan’s 1st Annual Supplier Summit is taking place on May 7th at Ford Field in Detroit. For our first summit, we are excited to share valuable information about doing business with the state, provide facetime with purchasing professionals from Central Procurement as well as our state agencies, such as DNR, MSP, DHHS, LARA, and more. In addition, we have invited officials from local governments around the area.
The Chief Procurement Officer will open the morning with a talk about our tremendous transformation efforts over the past few years, our focus on customer service and what that means to you, where we are going, and how you can help us be better. In addition, we are very much looking forward to a keynote address from one of the founders of Zingerman’s Deli - a very successful Michigan-based business with a focus on customer service. This will not be a boring lecture about procurement!
There will be a Q&A session with the CPO and senior leadership team, as well as a supplier trade show. You are invited and encouraged to utilize booth space that we are providing to showcase your products and services, and get some 1 on 1 time with all of us.
