2024 Corporate Transparency Act – Who’s Impacted and What Does It Mean?

The CTA took effect on January 1, 2024, imposing new beneficial ownership reporting requirements on an estimated 32.6 million established entities. Also, newly established entities must submit information to FinCEN within 90 days of their formation in 2024, with the deadline being further reduced to 30 days starting in 2025. Corinne and Juliette will provide an overview of CTA’s basic requirements, along with which entities must report and exactly what must be reported. Additionally, they will offer practical advice for reporting and compliance, as well as how the new act will impact estate planning and trusts.
