• Saving Businesses, Saving Lives Grant

The Oakland County Saving Businesses, Saving Lives Fund, created by Oakland County Executive David Coulter and the Board of Commissioners, is to help small businesses that save lives. As part of the Oakland County Small Business Stabilization Fund, this grant will award Oakland County companies that produce critically important Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. It will allow PPE companies (or those that can easily convert operations over to PPE or needed medical supply production) to access capital needed to quickly ramp up production and respond to growing healthcare needs.

Together we can help meet the needs of our front-line healthcare workers and first responders.

    • A total of $700,000 in funds is available for Oakland County Businesses
    • Business must demonstrate the ability to execute the project during the COVID-19 pandemic
    • Eligible use of funds:
      • Procuring necessary equipment to manufacture supplies
      • Logistics and shipping
      • Technology upgrades, and
      • Other costs related to operationalizing new product lines.
The intention of this grant is to get needed PPE equipment to first responders as quickly as possible. Grants will be reviewed and awarded as they are received.
