Leadership Visibility in Action
Early progress from InnovAPACC’s inaugural cohort
What happens after a leadership development program ends?
For InnovAPACC’s inaugural Leadership Visibility Cohort, the answer is: the work continues.
Less than three months after completing the four-month program, participants are already putting what they learned into practice, from becoming more intentional about how they communicate their value to building relationships that can support their next stage of leadership.
Follow-up conversations and participant updates show encouraging early progress:
100%
of participants reported developing or strengthening strategic relationships that support their leadership growth.Stronger relationships
Participants have gained new mentors, advocates, and greater access to organizational leaders.Career progress
One participant has earned a promotion, while others are being considered for expanded roles and new leadership opportunities.Greater confidence + clarity
Participants report greater confidence and clarity in how they communicate their contributions, position themselves for opportunities, and approach their next career step.Moving Beyond Strong Performance
Strong performance matters, but performance alone does not always lead to visibility, influence, or advancement.
Throughout the cohort, participants worked on clarifying how they want to be known as leaders, understanding how others experience their leadership, communicating their impact, and becoming more intentional about the relationships that can help them grow.

Tricia P. Jamerson

Tricia P. Jamerson, MBA, CSSBB
Continuous Improvement Analyst
Rocket Mortgage
For Tricia P. Jamerson of Rocket Mortgage, leadership visibility has meant expanding both her leadership within the organization and the body of work she is building beyond it.
Since completing the program, Tricia has taken on expanded responsibilities and contributed to new Servicing-wide projects. She has continued mentoring others, experienced increased confidence and recognition, and gained greater clarity about her next professional chapter.
She is also completing her next book, Winnergy: 8 Principles to Win the Year, while building Altitude 257, her strategy and education company.
Key Takeaway
One of Tricia’s biggest takeaways was recognizing that doing excellent work is not always enough. Leaders also have to be intentional about communicating their impact, developing relationships, and positioning themselves for the opportunities they want.
Her Advice to Emerging Leaders
“Don’t confuse visibility with simply being seen. Become known for something.”
Tricia encourages leaders to do excellent work, speak up when their perspective adds value, build genuine relationships, and demonstrate leadership before the next title arrives.
Meet the Inaugural Cohort

The Journey Continues
Leadership visibility is not built in one workshop, one introduction, or one promotion. It develops through consistent action, stronger relationships, intentional communication, and the confidence to contribute at a higher level.
Through Leadership Visibility in Action, InnovAPACC will continue following the inaugural cohort and sharing the different ways participants are applying what they learned and advancing their leadership journeys.
Progress can take many forms, from a promotion or expanded responsibility to gaining a mentor, speaking with greater confidence, taking on a more visible assignment, or becoming clearer about the next career move.
