Rainbow PUSH Coalition's 2020 Automotive Diversity Scorecard
This week, the automotive industry gathered in Detroit to convene the 22nd Rainbow PUSH Annual Global Automotive Summit. As part of the summit, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition’s 2020 Automotive Diversity Scorecard was released, and we were pleased to see that General Motors received the highest marks in the areas of advertising, procurement, dealers and philanthropy.
At GM, we aspire to be the most inclusive company in the world. We understand the importance of having a diversity of thoughts, ideas and perspectives, and we are working to drive meaningful, deliberate change. I am confident that GM, along with our key stakeholders and supplier partners, will lead the industry for this imperative purpose.
While we are proud of GM’s history in this space, we are even more excited about our future. Looking ahead, our supplier diversity vision remains to serve as an economic engine that drives empowerment, equity and inclusion within our supply chain and the communities in which we live and work.
