Sushi, Salsa 'N Soul Reception Drives Economic Impact Through Cultural Collaboration
Detroit, Michigan – For the fourth year in a row, three of the largest minority organizations in Michigan and Tier 1 automotive companies will come together to showcase how minority supplier development is done in Detroit.
This year the highly-anticipated Sushi, Salsa 'N Soul networking reception will be held in the Ontario Ballroom at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center, Detroit, MI in the evening of Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. immediately following the second full day of the Nationals convention at Cobo Hall.
Powered by DENSO International America, Inc., in partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), and co-hosted by the Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce (APACC), Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (MHCC), Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC), and National Business League (formerly known as Michigan Black Chamber of Commerce), Sushi, Salsa 'N Soul "Driving Economic Impact Through Cultural Collaboration" is expected to bring in over 400 attendees to promote diverse business development in Michigan and beyond.
An evening of ethnic-inspired cuisine along with cocktails and entertainment sets a perfect landscape for networking for both corporate guests and minority-certified company representatives as they stroll the large event space visiting a unique, gallery-style exhibition of sponsor displays.
“Supplier diversity is critical for growth. Not only does it boost ROI, it develops a socially conscious reputation for your company while unlocking innovation through diversity of thought and people,” stated Alysia Green, APACC Executive Director.
The event is complimentary to attend; however, pre-registration is required. Registration is available at http://bit.ly/2jJTxMT and is open to current members of the hosting organizations. Opportunities for sponsorship and exhibition are available for a limited time on a first-come-first-serve basis.
