    The duties include management of the sourcing process, developing and implementing creative solutions to complex challenges, capacity and cost management, and PO/ contract administration. This includes but is not limited to: Selecting suppliers, placing purchase orders, managing complex contracts, interfacing with internal and external customers, managing key Tier 1 and Tier N supplier relationships, and developing strategies.

    The ideal candidate must have: The ability to coordinate activities with other departments and resolve conflicts; must lead a cross functional team with "One Voice" to suppliers; and develop and manage key supplier relationships while maximizing suppliers' ability to deliver quality product on time.

    Additionally, the candidate will have responsibility for developing and/or assisting in the development of strategies and solutions to continuously improve costs and capacity. Global understanding of supplier capabilities and FCA global commodity strategy development is required and ability to travel will be necessary.

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field Minimum of 7 years of experience in purchasing or other disciplines that require significant negotiation and/or exposure to sourcing/project management processes Must be organized, self-motivated, capable of managing conflict and resourceful managing complex assignments Must demonstrate past results achievement and leadership demonstrated while working in cross-functional teams
