LEAD DRE – STRUCTURES & COOLANT HOSES
This position is for a Lead Release Engineer for the Battery Structure and Coolant Hose Team. In addition to leading the execution of structural/coolant hose components, the Lead DRE will be responsible to support all technical aspects for the PMT with emphasis on: component requirement development, DFMEA & CTS template development, ICDm's and support the finalization of component designs for new architectures – work with New Products Group, etc.
Job position will be responsible for specifying and balancing requirements, definition, execution and evaluation of designs and performance targets, analysis, development, test procedures, testing and validation of major engineering projects where a substantial amount of creativity and initiative are involved as well as a high level of independent judgment. The broad scope of responsibilities includes components and systems and technical mentoring of other engineers. May have the need to exercise technical direction over other engineers or engineering support personnel and may have work direction responsibilities over a group with specific engineering objectives. Capable of managing very broad or numerous projects with a high degree of difficulty. Actively engages in team issue resolution and supplier leveraging.
