• Manufacturing Program Manager, Secondary Operations

    Job Overview: Manage quilting, custom perforation and HDD development programs from award to production globally

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct open issues meetings with teams globally to ensure programs launch successfully
      • Track quilting machines in each region
      • Create program timings for secondary operations status as needed
    • Create quilting calculators when quote request is received
      • Captures cycles times and provides capital equipment, tools, fixtures and square feet required at a specific region
    • Create HDD calculators when quote request is received
      • Captures cycles times and provides capital equipment, tools, fixtures and square feet required at a specific region
    • Will be closely working with several departments to ensure successful product launch
      • Global Manufacturing Engineering
      • Ensure equipment required arrives at the region/plant on time and is ready for production
      • Advance Manufacturing
        • Pre-production builds done in RH
        • Feasibility samples
      • Design Program Managers
        • Design approval information on possible program awards
      • Program Managers
        • Obtain all program information on awarded programs such as any pattern changes, build date and quantities
      • Plant APQP engineers
        • Support with their ability to understand the launch process of secondary operations
      • Perforation and lamination engineers
        • Obtain feedback as to what material and or process works best for production
    • Submit sample requests for feasibility studies
    • Order material for samples or pre-production builds when needed
      • Request quotes and sample material from suppliers
    • Support teams in updating any necessary documents, processes or procedures
    • Create process flows as needed
    • Update Secondary Operations Blue Folder work instructions and checklists as needed
    • Other special projects requested by Director of Engineering
    • Travel may be required to any of our global plants if support is required (will be determined by Director of Engineering)

    Education and Experience:
    • BS degree in Business Administration or related field
    • Program Management experience
