Job Description & Qualifications
You’ll be part of a diverse and growing team of Designers (spanning Research, Prototyping, Business, Interaction, Product, Service, Communication, and Coaching) and Product/Service Activators working together to bring humanity to mobility.
As part of the D-Ford College Graduate (D-FCG) rotational program you will be provided with the structure (orientation, training opportunities, experiences and feedback) to enhance your creative, technical, and professional competencies. Our goal is to support you and your transition into the high performing, inclusive and engaged workforce needed to meet the mobility needs of tomorrow.
To begin your program, you are assigned a "home" team based on your interests and background as well as our business needs. You will be assigned a mentor, a member of D-FORD management who will advise and guide you through a core set of developmental assignments related to your home team. These assignments are structured to develop your skills and help to build your understanding of human centered design and the creation of world class products and services.
During your time here you’ll build experience in:
- Human-centered design best practices
- The latest approaches to understanding unmet user needs
- Research applied to industry
- Prototyping new experiences through various medium and across fidelities and testing them with people AND more.
