Manager, Reprocessing Services - Central Sterile Processing/Surgery Services
The Manager, Reprocessing Services, manages the operations of the central sterilization function. Plans and monitors the acquisition, preparation, and distribution of instrumentation and supplies required for safe and effective delivery of care to preoperative patients.
Provides management oversight for the development of safety practices, quality control of sterilization processes and programs and overall compliance requirements. Ensures that the central sterilization area is integrated and coordinated with patient needs and the needs of other health care providers. Develops collaborative relationships within Surgical Services to ensure central sterilization practices and procedures meet the needs of interdepartmental staff, physicians and varied patient populations.
Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 10 years of experience and certification
Minimum of five (5) years of experience with increasing scope of responsibility
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
MI Registered Nurse License (if applicable per education)
