We are the community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others. 

    We are seeking a full-time licensed master social worker to provide evidence-based therapy to adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities who are receiving Network180 services.  Provide support to individuals and their caregivers as well as Greenwood Psychiatric Clinic staff by coordinating treatment; facilitating authorizations, contracts, court petitions, and screening as needed. Support to psychiatric services clinic through clinical evaluations, referral services, coordination of care, discharge planning, chart prep and insurance authorization. All activities will take place either face-to-face or by phoneStarting wage is $53,188.51.

    During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are providing as many services as possible through Telehealth. Many employees are able to work from home during this time. For employees who do need to work on-site or see individuals in person, we provide Personal Protection Equipment to our employees and thorough safety and cleaning protocols are in place. Job interviews are being conducted via the internet.


    • Master’s degree in Social Work with a license in the State of Michigan
    • Fully licensed MSW preferred
    • At least one year of satisfactory work experience providing services to individuals with intellectual and development disabilities, mental illness or substance use disorders
    • Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment 
    • Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice
    • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills
    • Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities


    • Training in and experience with providing Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy preferred
    • Three years post undergraduate experience working with individuals with behavioral health disorders.
    • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
