    Network180 employees make a difference in people’s lives every day, making our community a better place to live. We are the community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others. 

    We are seeking a licensed Clinician to provide crisis intervention, assessments, and referral services for both adults and children. Activities may take place in a variety of settings and via face-to-face contact or Telehealth (video or telephonic).  Hours may vary based on need, employee would work anything from 8 to 40 hours weekly, first and second shifts. Starting wage is $25.57 per hour.

    During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are providing as many services as possible through Telehealth. Many employees are able to work from home during this time. For employees who do need to work on-site or see individuals in person, we provide Personal Protection Equipment to our employees and thorough safety and cleaning protocols are in place. Job interviews are being conducted via the internet.


    • Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology, Counseling or Counseling Psychology 
    • Certification or Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist.  
    • Licensed Master Social Worker preferred.
    • Credentialed through the Michigan Certificate Board for Addiction Professionals, preferred
    • Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis
    • Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice
    • Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
    • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
    • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and rationally
    • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
    • Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in stressful situations
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
    • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities
    • Available for on-call services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (on a rotating basis)


    • Training in and experience with providing Motivation Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy preferred
    • Three years post undergraduate experience working with individuals with behavioral health disorders
    • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
