    As a member of Purchasing team, the role of a Project buyer is to be responsible of purchasing in the KBD-NPI project team and to support a successful launch of the project in line with purchasing strategies and project targets.

    The Role:
    Your work will include, but not be limited to:

    • Timely delivery of Purchasing NPI milestones in KBD-NPI Projects
    • Fulfilment of project cost targets
    • KPI: Maintain and improve CM% level throughout project
    • KPI: Secure early cost reduction with LTA agreement according to target
    • Sourcing of BOM components in line with decided Category strategies
    • KPI: New sourcing to preferred suppliers according to target
     Area of Responsibility:
    • Primary Purchasing team member for KBD-NPI Projects
    • Manage the sourcing of BOM components, including the implementation of the Category strategies in the projects and price negotiations
    • Make component sourcing recommendations for awarded projects
    • Handle Purchasing administration on ERP, issue and manage PO’s in KBD-NPI projects
    Personal Tasks:
    • Main purchasing representative in KBD-NPI projects with responsibility to perform the purchasing activities in the KBD-NPI process
    • Responsible for cost and lead time estimations in early project phase in cooperation with Category cost estimators
    • Communicate specific supplier related needs/gaps found in projects to Category team
    • Inform Category team about new projects and support consolidation and combined negotiations to get leverage opportunities
    • Follow project plan to support PPAP and SOP timings set by project
    • Align bidders list with Category strategies in cooperation with Category buyers
