• Early Equipment Management (EEM) Project Manager

    The Early Equipment Management (EEM) Project Manager is responsible for the execution of Advanced Kaizen for the Mopar network strategy and planning department. The network strategy and planning department leads cost savings initiatives for the Mopar supply chain. The Project Manager will follow the EEM process and drive integration on the shop floor for all new technologies; project management for Advanced Kaizen via Gantt and MS Project; and lead advanced Kaizen steering committee meetings ensuring collaboration across supply chain departments.

    Additional job responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Follow the Workplace Integration (WPI) process when implemented between project and launch to identify and address issues prior to the Verification of Process (VP) build
    • Implement innovative solutions for new technology to improve the efficiency across supply chain
    • Use World Class Logistics methods or tools to lead kaizen across all departments of supply chain
    • Participate in location startups, process improvement teams and, cost-saving initiatives

    Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills
    • Experience implementing lean material flows
    • Ability to organize and communicate problem-solving techniques into visual displays and presentations for all levels of the organization
    • Ability to work in small teams with both management and hourly UAW workers
    • Experience with World Class Logistics, Lean manufacturing, and basic problem-solving tools
    • Able to implement pull systems and Kanban throughout Mopar PDC’s and supply chain
    • Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Packaging Engineering or Business
    • Supervisory experience or strong background in implementing LEAN manufacturing
    • Demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop team members
    • Experience working in a union environment
    • Proficient project management skills (MS Project, Gantt, etc.)
    • Proficient in MS office applications
    • Proficient with use of databases
