We are at a pivotal point in the history of technology, society, and security. As automation revolutionizes output and develops incredible new efficiencies, advances in robotics and artificial intelligence could reshape multiple parts of society, and profoundly reshape the path to income mobility and growth.
To navigate these changes, it is imperative to better understand these forces, and to plan and build systems that prepare American youth, employers, entrepreneurs, and workers to participate in the future economy.
The The Augmented Workforce: Michigan Designing for the Future is a national convening designed to chart a path forward by elevating the bold experiments and collaborations present in Michigan regarding these changes in the workforce. This half-day event will bring together hundreds of stakeholders from the defense, transportation, government, and education sectors, and will feature three engaging tiers of discussion, punctuated by networking breaks.
