The Sankofa Black Business Awards Gala will be held at the Motor City Casino in Detroit\, MI on Saturday\, November 17\, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.\n\n\n\nThe African American business community represents more than 2.9 million Black-owned businesses nationally and 106\,000 in the great state of Michigan. Last year's 4th annual Sankofa Awards Gala hosted more than 800 attendees for a sold-out event featuring a wide cross-section of corporations\, small businesses\, elected officials\, and dignitaries throughout the state of Michigan\, making it the largest Black business sit-down dinner in the country.
