DESCRIPTION:The long term goal of the National Civic Leadership Forum is to forge unity among a diverse group of multi-cultural AAPI national and regional organizations to develop civic leadership\, build political clout\, fight against racial bias\, and achieve equality for the AAPI community in the USA. The short term goal is to strengthen and empower the AAPI community in preparation for the 2020 election year.\n\n\n\nThe objective of this forum is two-fold:\n\n	To augment the interaction and collaboration among the diverse components of the AAPI community to build trust and unity by leveraging the NCLF as a platform.\n	To establish a working relationship with members of Congress and White House cabinet\, to show the strength and unity of the AAPI community\, and to raise the awareness and support major AAPI events in 2020 and beyond.\n\n\n\nIn this forum you will:\n\n	Meet with Congressional members and community leaders whose work in civic engagement is well recognized.\n	Be inspired by kynote speeches by members of Congress\, White House officials\,  community leaders and activists. \n	Receive training on: How to run a successful campaign\, Voter Registration and Census).\n	Immerse yourself into the core of American democracy by attending the Congressional Visit and Reception.  \n	Participate in 2020 planning and grant support.  \n	Be empowered by the unity of diverse AAPI community.\n\nTo view event flyer\, please click here.
