DESCRIPTION:PMBC is partnering with Southwest Michigan First and a regional partner group to host the 2024 Southwest Michigan Supplier Readiness event on May 21 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Firekeepers Casino and Hotel in Battle Creek. This event is designed to support small businesses interested in showcasing their capabilities to local buyers by providing them with a variety of resources that will enable them to put their best foot forward through:\n\n\n	Accessing capacity-building resources  \n	Preparing for procurement opportunities  \n	Perfecting their pitch  \n	Growing and maintaining supply chain relationships  \n\n\nThe Summit will be open to all suppliers looking for support to become buyer-ready\, with a focus on opportunities for local and diverse businesses. The event will include presentations on doing business with Southwest Michigan organizations\, breakout sessions on supplier resources\, and buyer-supplier networking. There is no cost to participate though registration is required.
