APACC Mission
To facilitate business relationships among Asian and U.S. companies and to promote entrepreneurship for the advancement of Asian Pacific Americans
Believing that most successful businesses are built through relationships, and mutual mentorship and support, APACC strives to provide its members with information that is current and important in making strategic business decisions. We continuously identify timely topics and seek leaders in their field to address them from different perspectives to enhance their knowledge and network base in this global economy.
APACC represents Asian Pacific American businesses that have origins that are either Asians, Pacific Islanders and Subcontinent Asian Ancestry, which includes persons from Burma, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, Japan, China, Taiwan, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Korea, The Philippines, U.S. Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, Guam, Samoa, Macao, Hong Kong, Fiji, Tonga, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Nauru, Northern Mariana Islands, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Nepal.
APACC's Strategic Partner Members are: Detroit Chinese Business Association (DCBA), Detroit Chinese Engineer Association (DCEA), Indo-American Chamber of Commerce-USA, Japan Business Society of Detroit (JBSD), Korean-American Professionals in the Automotive Industry (KPAI), Philippine Chamber of Commerce-Michigan, TiE-Detroit (The Indus Entrepreneurs), and Thai-American Association of Michigan.
APACC's partnership with Asian community organizations include: Association of Chinese Americans, Inc. (ACA), Chinese Association of Greater Detroit (CAGD), Council of Asian Pacific Americans (CAPA), Great Lakes Hmong Association, Vietnamese American Association of Michigan, National Federation of Filipino Americans Association (NAFFAA) and the Philippine American Community Center of Michigan (PACCM).
