Ms. Alysia Green
Executive Director

Alysia Green joined the Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce (APACC) as Executive Director in June 2017. Green oversees APACC’s operation, direction, strategy, innovation and more. Previously, Green was the Regional Director of Workforce and Strategic Partnerships for New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, in Livonia, MI, where she was responsible for developing and maintaining new strategic partnerships, overseeing workforce business development strategies, providing management oversight of program development and implementation and achieving enrollment and budgetary goals for her department. Green also held external affairs and talent development positions from 2005-2014 for Automation Alley, in Troy, MI. In her highest role, she served as Director of Talent Development and was responsible for all aspects of a $5 million U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) Information Technology training grant which was recognized as a USDOL best practice.

Green has served on educational boards, committees and task forces including: Annual Collaboration for Entrepreneurship (ACE), the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG), the Design and Manufacturing Alliance (DMA), State of Michigan’s Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) Education Partnership, Oakland County Workforce and Education Committee and Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Talent Partner Network.

Green holds a Bachelor’s degree from Oakland University in Communication Arts with a minor in Political Science and is a certified Business Solutions Professional (cBSP) through Michigan State University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. She has also completed a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) course and is studying to complete her certification.
